On Sunday 6th March, cadets from 422 (Corby) Squadron Royal Air Force Air Cadets took part in the Clean for The Queen campaign running across the country to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday.
Working alongside Corby Borough Council, the staff and cadets made their way around the 100-acre site at East Carlton Country park picking up any litter they could find.
Showing great teamwork, the cadets and staff cleared the park in under two hours, with the strangest find of the day being a broadband installation CD.
The Council were grateful for the cadets help and look forward to seeing them back on Saturday 19th March for the 75th Anniversary tree planting event.
