So you want to be a Royal Air Force Air Cadet?
If you've made it to this page then you're probably looking for a challenge; something to bring out what you're really capable of.
Are you 12* - 16 years old? Yes. How do I join?
The Squadron now operates an Intake Programme, much like our Parent Service; The Royal Air Force, which allows you to join at the same time as your friends or other like-minded teenagers. So don't worry, you won't be on your own. The purpose of this is to give you the maximum benefit of our training programme and make your first steps in becoming a Royal Air Force Air Cadet the best first steps you can take.
The Squadron holds two Intake Open Days a year which align to the Squadron's Annual Training Programme. If you are looking to join the Squadron or want to find out more about #WhatWeDo, then you are more than welcome to visit at any time prior to these Intake Open Days (please send an email prior to your visit using the Contact Us page).
*12 year olds must be in Year 8 at school
Intake Open Day
Date: 21/09/2024
Time: 10am until 2pm
Start Date: 23/09/2024
What happens if I miss the Intake Open Day?
Don't worry, you can always come down on the Monday after the Intake Open Day and we'll give you all the necessary paperwork to complete.
