Corby Air Cadets attend Pre-Gliding Scholarship Course
On Saturday 14th March 2015, Cpl Baker, Cdt Fountain, Cdt Eden, Cdt Max Maxwell, Cdt Melody Mawell and myself all attended a pre-gliding scholarship at RAF Wyton.
It was an all day course that consisted of learning how to takeoff, fly and land. We also had to be able to read the instruments accurately and do the pre-takeoff checks.
We all passed the course with 'flying' colours.
I found that it was a fantastic opportunity and I would definitely recommend it to all cadets that are eligible.
