Corby Air Cadets Remember The Few

On Sunday 14th September 2014, cadets from 422 (Corby) Squadron were joined by 1101 (Kettering) Squadron Royal Air Force Air Cadets and the Corby Branch of the Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA), to march in honour of the servicemen and women that fought and lost their lives in the Battle of Britain.

A commemoration was held at the Cenotaph in Corby Old Village, where wreaths were laid by both Squadrons. They then attended a Church Service at St. John’s led by the Squadron’s very own Padre, the Reverend Paul Frost.

After the Church service the cadets and staff joined the congregation, family and friends in the Church Hall for a “Brew For The Few” tea party arranged by Corby RAFA to raise funds for the Wings Appeal.
